Specialty polymer panels create the skating surface, allowing real skates to glide without a chiller or frozen water. It works in warm climates and can be installed indoors or outdoors.

Indoor venues require wide, double-door access. Adequate space is also needed for the rink, skate-changing area, spectators and selected village attractions.

Weather doesn’t have to cancel your holiday fundraiser. Chillville has rain-date location options throughout San Diego County to help keep your event on schedule if rain affects your original outdoor location.

You provide the approved location and help promote the event. Chillville provides the rink, equipment, attractions and event team. Revenue from skating, rentals, VIP igloos, food, activities, merchandise and sponsorships is shared under an agreed plan.

Chillville uses commercial synthetic ice designed for real ice skates. The polymer panels provide a smooth skating experience without refrigeration, frozen water or cold weather.
02Can Chillville operate indoors or outdoors?+
Yes. Chillville operates day or night, indoors or outdoors, as long as the location is solid, level and meets our installation and access requirements.
03What surfaces are suitable?+
Level parking lots, basketball or tennis courts, concrete pads, ballrooms and approved convention spaces. Grass, dirt, gravel, sand and uneven surfaces are not suitable.
04What equipment access is required?+
Indoor venues require wide, double-door access. We also need adequate space for the rink, skate-changing area, spectators and any selected village attractions.
05How long is each event?+
Choose a five-hour evening experience (4:00–9:00 PM) or a nine-hour all-day experience (12:00–9:00 PM). Custom hours may be available.
06How long is each skating session?+
Sessions are timed so guests rotate through the rink throughout the event, keeping lines moving and giving more families a turn on the ice.
07Can we customize the village?+
Absolutely. Mix and match winter play, treat stations, VIP igloos, selfie stations, crafts, branding and prizes—or choose the all-inclusive Complete Holiday Village.
08What does Chillville handle?+
Delivery, installation, the skating surface and barriers, 60 skates, chalet, seating, staffing, music, lighting, décor, operation and complete breakdown and removal.
